Worship the One You Want to Know

At some point in my walk with God, I began to notice that some of the Christians I know are stronger and more able than others.

Have you noticed the same thing?  Some of your friends, some of the people that you attend church with seem like they are better at walking with God than you are?

Think with me for a minute.  What is it about them that is different?  Are they good at reading the Bible?  Are they good at praying for others?  Leading others to Christ? Do you see others coming to them for help?

Have you ever seen yourself as a person who could be good at these things?  How could you get there?

When I look at these people, the ones who seem so mature, I see people who know God.  When that clicked in for me, I began to try to know God.  And I wasn’t very good at it.

Until I began to worship God, I didn’t know Him well.  But as I began to worship Him, something changed in my heart.

I encourage you to start this part of your journey today!  Ask God to teach you how to worship Him!
